How fast does an Expansion develop?

The expansion rate depends on the following factors:

• The amount of Expansion Power invested in it

• The total amount of positive influences

• The total amount of negative influences

Positive influences include the user's Spaces located in the Expansion zone. Negative influences include other users' Spaces and competing Expansions in the same area. Also, by clicking on an Expansion, you can open up its detailed view and examine each factor that affects it a positive or negative manner. Each Space has a certain inherent Expansion 'capture speed'. The basic rule is this: the more expensive the Space, the longer it takes to capture it (or, in other words) - the more Expansion Power is required in order to capture it faster. \
